Katie the Big Sister

So we held it in as long as we could. For those of you who haven't logged on to Twitter or Facebook today, here it is: WE'RE HAVING ANOTHER BABY!

So, as you can see, my wife is both very clever and very pregnant (not that there are degrees of pregnancy). We are very excited to nurture and sometime this Fall welcome the newest member of our family.

It should be noted that Katie has never been as interested in ANY blog post I've written as this one, in which her favorite baby doll is featured. I wonder when she'll be ready to blog. Hmm...

She is, however, fully equipped and emotionally prepared to be a big sister. Without any coaching, I asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up, and her answer? "A big sister," she said, smiling. Unbelievable. Are two year-olds supposed to be this intelligent?
